For 25 years, SGS Vernolab has been developing a particular technique to evaluate the temperature inside the moving parts. This special technique is called TEMPLUG.

TheTEMPLUG is a special treated screw which has to be installed inside the piece.

Thissystem sold worldwide is very reliable : +/- 3%. It evaluates the temperatures between 100°C and 850 °C for an operating time which can last up to 1000 hours.

Veryeasy to use (the screw is a M 1.6 or M 3), the TEMPLUG technique appears to be very cheap compared to other methods.
