Used Oil Analysis Process:

• Logistics
  SGS Vernolab provides you with the sample bottles, sample identification labels, and pre-addressed envelopes.

• Sampling
  This is done by our customers but using our recommendations. The sample is then sent directly to our laboratory.

• Sample Reception
  On arrival at our laboratories your sample is registered on our system thus linking it to your company and a particular piece of equipment. If the data provided is not sufficient (information missing on the sample label, equipment not registered in our system), the processing of your sample may be delayed, depending on the additional research that may be required.

• Analysis
  Depending on what has been agreed between our companies, analysis schemes are carried out in accordance with the test methods described in our quality system.

• Diagnosis
  The diagnosis is made by mechanical engineers, using our data base, previous analysis results and also personal experience and knowledge.

• Report
  The report is immediately printed after diagnosis and can be sent to you either by email, fax or mail.

• Web Support
  SGS Vernolab also has a technical web site that can be accessed by customers. This access is password protected and confidential and allows our customers to see their results and to perform statistical functions on the data.
